2025 STEM RACING WORLD FINALS

Team Lunar become the eight team from Australia to be crowned STEM Racing World Champions in Singapore.

The 2025 Aramco STEM Racing World Finals were held at the iconic Resorts World Sentosa, bringing together 83 teams from 34 countries - the largest World Finals to date! From the 27th of September to the 2nd of October, we experienced an intense week of racing, judging, presenting, and media interviews.

After placing 3rd at the last World Finals in Saudi Arabia, we pushed even harder this year - and it paid off! We secured the World Champions trophy with a total score of 875 points, proudly standing on the podium alongside Blue Wolves from Germany and Unity Racing from the United Kingdom.

Alongside the World Champions trophy, Lunar also won the awards for the:

  • Best Engineered Car supported by Atlassian Williams Racing

  • Fasted Car Award supported by Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula 1 Team (1.082s)

  • Integrated Digital Engineering Award supported by Autodesk & Ansys

We’re also thrilled that two of our team members, Max Zylberman (Engineering Director) and Liam Jones (CAM Engineer), were selected to join the Komatsu Williams Engineering Academy - an exclusive program that chooses just 10 students from over 300 global applicants each year. This will give them unmatched opportunities, including access to elite engineering mentors and real-world experiences.

Following the event, we enjoyed an unforgettable time at the Singapore Grand Prix, taking tours around the F1 team's garages that sponsored the awards, and standing on the official Formula 1 podium.

None of this would have been possible without the dedication of the judges, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters who helped make the event in Singapore truly world-class. Your belief in us made this unforgettable journey a reality - and one we will cherish forever.

On behalf of Team Lunar, thank you.
